Due Diligence for the Quality of the RIPE NCC Registration Data

We have a mandate from the RIPE community to keep an up-to-date and correct Internet number resource registry. In order to comply with this mandate, we perform due diligence on the organisations that we register Internet number resources to. 

The Due Diligence procedure outlines the minimum information and documentation that we  require to make sure that the registration data is valid and up-to-date while complying with the applicable legislation as an association under Dutch law.

RIPE NCC Audit Activity

After Internet number resources have been registered, we perform regular audits to ensure compliance with RIPE policies and to actively check the quality and validity of the data in the RIPE Registry.

Transparency Report

We receive information requests from law enforcement agencies and try to facilitate the provision of any required publicly available information. 

We publish an annual transparency report with statistics on the requests received from LEAs over the previous year.
